Dr Thomas Collyer MBChB MMedSci(Hons) FRCA FFICM qualified in medicine in

1998 from the University of Leeds. He has been a substantive Consultant

Anaesthetist at Harrogate District Hospital since August 2009. Thomas has a

specialist interest in Critical Care Medicine, enhanced surgical recovery and medical

education and is currently the College Tutor for anaesthesia.

Thomas has three small children and, when not carting them around, enjoys sport in

all it’s forms.

Dr Will Peat

Dr. William Peat MBChB FRCA FFICM PGCE (clin ed), qualified in medicine in

1999 from the University of Leicester. He has been a substantive Consultant at

Harrogate District Hospital since January 2012. William has a specialist interest in

critical care medicine, regional anaesthesia and difficult airways.

With three small children, Williams’s surfboards are unfortunately gathering dust in

the loft.

Dr Jeremy Charlton Mb.ChB. Bsc.(Hons) DipMedEd. FRCA qualified in Medicine in 1994

from Leeds University. He has been a substantive Consultant Anaesthetist at Harrogate

District Hospital since 2003. Jeremy has specialist interests in anaesthesia for major

orthopaedic surgery and obstetric anaesthesia, and is currently Clinical Lead for the anaesthetic department and for obstetric anaesthesia.

Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family as well as snowboarding, cycling, and watching

football.

Dr Rob Tuffin

Dr Rob Tuffin BSc(Hons) MBChB MRCP FRCA EDIC qualified in medicine from the

University of Leeds in 2001. He has been a substantive Consultant Anaesthetist at

Harrogate District Hospital since August 2013. His areas of specialist interest include

Critical Care Medicine and the use of simulation in medical education. He is currently the clinical lead for critical care in Harrogate.

Outside of work Rob is a keen triathlete and trail runner.

Dr Chunda Sri-Chandana

Dr Chunda Sri-Chandana MBChB MRCP (UK) FRCA FFICM qualified in medicine in

1995 from the University of Zimbabwe. He moved to the UK to complete his post

graduate medical training and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians

in 2002. He then focused on his interest in the critically ill patient and completed his

post graduate anaesthetic and intensive care training in the West Yorkshire Deanery.

Chunda started as a substantive Consultant Anaesthetist at Harrogate District

Hospital in June 2009. Chunda is currently a Deputy Clinical Director in

Harrogate and other specialist interests include ophthalmology and complex vascular

access.

Chunda has two small children and enjoys reading and gardening.

Dr Dave Earl

Dr Dave Earl, Bsc MBChB MRCP FRCA FFICM, graduated from the University of Bristol and undertook his further training in London, the South West and Sydney. He is currently a Deputy Medical Director at Harrogate District Hospital, where he is also clinical lead for preoperative assessment.

His specific interests include assessment and management of higher risk patients and anaesthesia for colorectal and orthopaedic surgery.
